RAY BLOOM - General Council Member
I spent most of my working life as a teacher in the UK, but latterly experiencing the worldly oyster, with teaching work in international schools in Malawi and, most recently, in Egypt. I am now retired and enjoy the great golf opportunities in Thailand. I organise a social golf group on Wednesday mornings and run the handicapping system for the weekend Londoner golf group.
With time on my hands, I also preside over an investors goup trying to make a fortune on the SET. I have always played sport, particuarly 'religious' cricket in Yorkshire and now follow the fluctuating fortunes of Arsenal on TV. I like to sing, so I grab a karaoke microphone at every chance.
I have a couple of grown-up kids in the UK and enjoy travelling whenever funds are available.
